Read The Nutritional Facts

Try to limit the amount of packaged foods you eat. If you do eat packaged foods try to find products that are lower in fat, sugar and sodium. The healthiest food you can eat is typically made with fresh ingredients that have been as unrefined as possible.

  Stay Active

As you grow older, being active becomes more and more important to your health. Physical activity can help extend your life. This is not just about adding years to your life, it’s about adding life to your years. Exercise can also do wonders for your mind, mood and memory. Even if this means doing a few laps inside your home, any exercise is better than no exercise.

    Stay Hydrated

As silly as this sounds it’s easier to be dehydrated than to be hydrated. To minimize feeling full from liquids try and drink small amounts throughout the day. Keep drinks that have salts and sugar to a minimum.
